THE THAMES SOCIETY OF ARTS
Gallery
is housed in the historic Old Thames North
School building on Tararu Road, the coastal
SH25. This charming building is one of the
most spacious and airy gallery spaces on
the Coromandel, offering natural light, white
walls, fixtures, warm wooden floors and recent
reburbishment. It’s only 3km from Thames
central, and certainly worth a stop.
The dedicated society volunteers have lined
up three events for this Spring and Summer.
The
Thames ArtBeat 2015 Exhibition
features
30 key Coromandel artists, an “invitational.”
The show opens Saturday 21 November,
running through 6 December.
On Sunday 6th December, 9am-7pm, is the
Artfair: All Under $100.
The next weekend,
Sat 12th starts the
Members Summer
Exhibition
, which runs through the Summer.
