W hangamata will be the classic car capital of the South Pacific in March
with action packed days of auto adrenalin and Rock & Roll...all retro
fueled. The action kicks off on March 24th with the Coastal Rockers Club
Night at The Whangamata Club. The next day, the hot rods and classic roll out
for a cruise to Waihi.
A thousand hot rods, classic trucks, motorcycles, and caravans will converge on
the Whangamata area to show their stuff.
Enjoy plenty of bands, cruising, drive in
movies, retro pin ups, Vintage Markets,
a retro caravan campground, nostalgia
quizzes, a comedy night, Hop Idol,
classic car shows, retro caravan show,
rock N roll and beach hop dances, and
prize giving.
