Gardening Club Digs In for Spring
The gardening club recently received a grant to purchase tools, a wheelbarrow,
potting mix, a greenhouse and seeds. Coordinator Jane Land works with the club
every Thursday; individual classes will establish their spring gardens and grow
seedlings. The school gardens are looking great – the result of Jane’s leadership
and the students’ hard work.
Tairua School does their bit as “Global
Citizens” to help with the Rena Clean-
up on our area beaches. Vita Rowe

students and families, spent most of
the 2012 Easter holiday break cleaning
up the beach.
