WHITIANGA
MARINA
T
he Whitianga Marina offers convenient access
to both the open sea and to Whitianga’s main
shopping district – with its cafés, restaurants, small
parks, and stores – is a simple stroll away.
If boating into the well protected marina from Mercury
Bay, be assured that showers, water, power and toilet
are available; overnights are welcome. Many tour,
scuba diving, and charter fishing boats launch from
the marina.
Find the clubhouse of the Mercury Bay Gamefishing
Club nearby on The Esplanade; a very active
organization that sponsors many gamefishing
tournaments.

area. Hours are from 10am-4pm daily, except
