Driving Creek Railway.

This is perhaps the best train ride in the country,

not just a kiddie ride, but an hour adventure that takes you through

tunnels, across bridges and through complex territory, much of it

decorated with tile and pottery artwork by owner/creator Barry Brickell.

The Eye Full Tower offers panoramic view, and there is a nature preserve,

an art gallery and gift shop. 380 Driving Creek Rd, Coromandel. Tickets

are pricey, but worth it, advance booking recommended.
