After 4 months spent renovating his
home on Tokoroa Street, Murray
decided he was ready for a new
project. He approached Kevin and
Gloria Giles at Tairua Hammer
Hardware and, after serving Tairua
well for over 13 years, the Giles
decided to hand off the business
to Murray.
Murrray’s main goal is to offer
a large selection at competitive
prices. He has renovated and
reorganized the interior for a
brighter more spacious look.
“We’ve increased the stock and
choices in all areas”, says Murray,
“from hardware and household, to
fishing and camping. We still have
the gardening centre annex and a
larger timber yard. We encourage
the trades to come to us for quotes
and use our services”.
